Here is exactly what happens to your information when you use Hisab — in plain language, not legal language.

What stays on your device by default.

• •Everything you type — your debts, amounts, creditor names, and notes
• •Your salary amount, payment dates, and reminders
• •Your Hisab Score and debt history
• •Your saved debt plan after documents are processed
• •Optional backup data, only if you turn backup on

Hisab is built private-first. By default, we do not keep a cloud copy of your debt records, and we do not store raw documents on our servers after AI processing.

When you ask Hisab AI for help, here is what it receives.

When you use AI chat or AI extraction, the text or file needed for that task is sent securely for processing. We send only what is needed to help with that request, and we do not keep raw documents on Hisab servers after processing.

• •Processing may be handled by external AI services acting on Hisab's behalf
• •Raw documents are not kept on Hisab servers after processing

Backup is your choice. Off by default.

If you create an account and turn on backup, a copy of your debt records is stored securely so you can switch phones. This is off by default. You switch it on. You can delete it anytime — from the app, in Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete Backup. Documents are never backed up. Only debt records and settings.

Delete everything. Permanently. Anytime.

Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete All My Data. One tap. Everything on your phone is gone. If you had backup enabled, that is deleted too. We keep nothing. The app resets as if it was never installed.

The only thing we actually collect.

Anonymous usage data such as screen views, feature usage, and error reports. We do not sell your financial data, and we do not use raw debt records or uploaded documents for advertising. You can opt out of analytics in Settings → Privacy & Data → Analytics.

Your choices and controls.

You can use Hisab without creating an account. Backup is optional. You can delete local data, remove backup data, and turn analytics off from within the app. If you contact us about backup or privacy, we will use your message only to respond to that request.
