Deleting your Hisab data

Hisab (com.gethisab) stores your financial records on your own device, not on our servers. Deleting them takes one action in the app, and it is immediate and permanent.

How to delete everything

1. 1.Open Hisab on your phone.
2. 2.Go to the You tab.
3. 3.Tap Privacy & Data.
4. 4.Tap Delete everything from this phone, then confirm.

There is no account to close and no waiting period. The deletion happens on your device the moment you confirm it, and it cannot be undone. Uninstalling the app also removes everything, because nothing is stored anywhere else.

What is deleted

• Every debt, payment, and commitment you have recorded
• Every document and photo you scanned, including the files themselves
• Your Al Etihad Credit Bureau reports and the analysis generated from them
• Your chat history with the AI coach, and anything it remembered about you
• The anonymous identifier used to rate-limit AI requests

What is not ours to delete

• When you use an AI feature, the request is processed by Google as our AI provider. Google may retain it briefly for abuse monitoring under its own terms. Hisab keeps no copy, and we cannot delete Google's transient copy on your behalf.
• Anything you exported or shared yourself — a saved PDF, a screenshot, a message you sent — stays wherever you put it.

If you need help

If you cannot access the app and want your data removed, email j.ofori@oxinus.io from any address and describe the problem. Because your records live only on your device, in most cases we have nothing on our side to delete — but we will talk you through it.
