These terms apply to your use of the Hisab website and mobile app. If you do not agree with them, please do not use Hisab.
What Hisab is.
Hisab is a debt-management app for UAE expats. It helps you organise debts, see priorities, plan payments, draft creditor messages, and track your debt health over time.
Who Hisab is for.
Hisab is designed for adults managing their own finances. If you use it for someone else, you are responsible for making sure you have permission to do so.
What Hisab does.
It helps you record debts, prioritise them, track payments, and draft negotiation letters. What you do with that information is your responsibility. Hisab does not contact creditors on your behalf, negotiate debts, or guarantee any outcome.
How the AI works.
When you use AI features in Hisab, the text or file needed for that request may be sent securely to external AI services. AI output can help you organise your thinking and draft messages, but it may be incomplete or wrong. You must review anything before acting on it or sending it.
Your responsibilities.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, the payments you record, and any message you send using content drafted by Hisab. If you choose to contact a bank or creditor, that communication is still yours.
Not financial or legal advice.
Hisab is an organisation and guidance tool. It is not a licensed financial adviser, debt broker, law firm, or government service. If your situation is urgent or legal, you should seek qualified professional advice.
Your data.
Your debt records stay on your device by default. If you enable backup, a copy is stored securely on our servers. If you use AI features, the relevant text or file may be sent securely for processing. See the Privacy page for full details.
Availability and features.
We may improve, pause, remove, or change parts of the website or app at any time. This includes AI features, beta features, and coming-soon features. We do not promise that every feature will always be available in every country, language, or device.
Limitation of liability.
Hisab is provided as-is. We do not guarantee that using the app will solve your debt problems, improve your credit history, or prevent any legal action. You are responsible for your financial decisions.
Changes.
We may update these terms as the product changes. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and may notify you in the app or on the website. Continued use of Hisab means you accept the updated terms.
